If you are seeking affordable garden gifts for a housewarming event or as decorative additions to the garden, why not invite the look of a decorative downspouter? Today, downspouters are moving away from boring looking forms to include versatile and whimsical additions. The fascination has been recent with the introduction of adorable animal downspout diverters and whimsical drainpipe extenders that draw the water away from the foundation of the home. Many now highlight downspouters with the theme of animals and the mystical such as frog downspouters, gargoyle downspouters and unique critter inspired downspouters.

Some cultures consider the use of the frog and turtle as good luck symbols and the use of these animals on many garden items around the home just comes from a believe that having them means more luck to the home owner.
Downspouters need not be boring solutions for covering the ugly drainpipes and their dressy animal themes will add color and vibrancy to the garden. They also of course make unique gift ideas for the garden. Why not use the downspouters to draw some of the awful water away from the foundation of your home or use them to cover the ugly drainpipe with a look that is more fun filled and charming.
